Rockhurst Women's Soccer returns home for two games this weekend at Bourke Field. Rockhurst hosts Quincy on Friday at 5 p.m., followed by a match against Truman State on Sunday at noon.
The RU Hawks (4-3-3, 3-2-2 GLVC) have scored 20 goals in their last four games. Rockhurst tied Lewis 1-1 last Friday and won 6-0 at Upper Iowa on Sunday. Anna Lantz, Lexi Matzke and Caitlyn Smith each scored two goals in the win over Upper Iowa. Smith also scored the Hawks' goal against Lewis.
Quincy (6-1-2, 5-0-1 GLVC) has won five consecutive matches and are currently on an eight-match unbeaten streak. The QU Hawks won 2-0 against Truman State last Friday and shut out William Jewell, 3-0, last Sunday to extend their shutout streak to four in a row.
Quincy won last year's meeting, 3-1, with Rockhurst and leads the all-time series 16-10-5.
Truman State (3-3-2, 3-2-1 GLVC) won 3-1 over Upper Iowa last Friday and fell to Quincy 2-0 on Sunday. The Bulldogs face William Jewell on Friday before playing Rockhurst.
Truman State holds a 16-6-3 all-time series lead over Rockhurst. Rockhurst has a three-match unbeaten streak against the Bulldogs, including a 2-0 win at Truman State last year.
