Women collect dual meet win at Saint Mary

Yara Elkoush won the 1000 freestyle and 100 butterfly, and came in second in the 400 individual medley

The Rockhurst women's swimming and diving team posted a 178-71 win over the University of Saint Mary Saturday in Lansing, Kansas. The Hawks won 13 races, finished in second in seven races and came in third in four events.

Highlights:

Yara Elkoush won the 1000 freestyle (11:28.23) and 100 butterfly (1:01.45), and came in second in the 400 individual medley (5:03.78).
Paige Sheridan won the 200 freestyle (2:04.63) and 400 individual medley (4:49.45).
Laetitia Bouc posted wins in the 200 butterfly (2:15.56) and 500 freestyle (5:22.26).
Reese Moore won the 50 freestyle (25.46) and 100 freestyle (55.86).
Tauren Walz won the 100 backstroke (1:03.11) and placed second in the 100 butterfly (1:01.69).
The team of Liza Engelbrecht, Kara Good, Tauren Walz and Avery Walz won the 400 medley relay (4:15.42).
Engelbrecht came in first in the 200 backstroke (2:16.54) and second in the 100 butterfly (1:03.07).
Avery Walz won the 200 breaststroke (2:29.11) and came in fourth in the 50 freestyle (26.07).
Chiara Ambrosi finished second in the 100 backstroke (1:04.10) and 500 freestyle (5:41.66).
The team of Bouc, Moore, Tauren Walz and Avery Walz won the 200 freestyle relay (1:43.08).
