Women drop dual meet at William Jewell

Paige Sheridan won the 400 and 800 freestyle events at Jewell

Laetitia Bouc and Paige Sheridan led the Hawks with two wins each, as the Hawks fell 105.5-99.5 to crosstown rival William Jewell on Monday in Liberty, Missouri.

The Hawks won five events on Monday, while tying for first in an additional event. Rockhurst also earned three second and third place finishes.

Highlights:

Bouc won the 200 freestyle (2:10.05) and the 200 butterfly (2:22.10).
Sheridan won the 800 freestyle (9:19.65) and the 400 freestyle (4:35.72).
Chiara Ambrosi (2:25.07) won the 200 backstroke.
The relay team of Reese Moore, Liza Engelbrecht, Tauren Walz and Karsen Bennett (1:51.40) won the 200 freestyle relay.
Moore tied for first (1:00.41) in the 100 freestyle.
Engelbrecht, Avery Walz, Bouc and Moore (2:01.87) placed second in the 200 medley relay.
Engelbrecht (28.09) and Bennett (28.45) took home second and third, respectively, in the 50 freestyle.
Avery (2:27.10) and Tauren Walz (2:29.08) finished second and third, respectively, in the 200 IM.
Avery Walz (2:40.48) finished third in the 200 breaststroke.
