Hawks fall to Truman State, 131-73

Laetitia Bouc led the Hawks with wins in the 200 freestyle and 100 butterfly.

Rockhurst Women's Swimming and Diving fell 131-73 to Truman State during a dual meet on Friday afternoon in Kirksville, Missouri. The Hawks won three events, collected seven second-place finishes and recorded three third-place finishes.

Highlights:

Laetitia Bouc won the 200 freestyle (2:00.07).
Bouc also won the 100 butterfly (59.65) and Liza Engelbrecht finished second (1:01.52).
Avery Walz won the 200 IM (2:15.33), while Yara Elkoush finished third (2:16.62).
The team of Engelbrecht, Avery Walz, Laetitia Bouc and Tauren Walz finished second in the 200 medley relay (1:52.36).
Paige Sheridan placed second in the 1000 freestyle (10:55.88).
Reese Moore earned a second-place finish in the 100 freestyle (55.06) and third in the 50 freestyle (25.37).
Sheridan (5:25.33) and Elkoush (5:27.08) finished second and third, respectively, in the 500 freestyle.
Avery Walz collected a second-place finish in the 100 breaststroke (1:10.45).
The team of Engelbrecht, Tauren Walz, Karsen Bennett and Moore took second in the 200 freestyle relay (1:42.22).
