Rockhurst travels to Indianapolis on Friday and Illinois Springfield on Sunday. The Hawks face the Greyhounds Friday at 4 p.m. Central time, while they visit the Prairie Stars Sunday at noon.
Rockhurst (3-4, 1-2 GLVC) faced Maryville last Friday in St. Louis and fell 4-0. The Hawks bounced back this past Sunday with a 2-0 shutout victory over Missouri-St. Louis at Bourke Field, powered by two second-half goals from Anna Lantz.
Indianapolis (3-2-1, 2-0-1 GLVC) went on the road for both matches last weekend and defeated Quincy 4-0 last Friday and Upper Iowa 1-0 last Sunday. Dating back to 2005, Rockhurst is 10-5-4 against the Greyhounds.
Rockhurst has won two of the last three contests against Indianapolis, playing to a scoreless tie on Sept. 22 last year on the road.
Springfield (2-1-3, 2-0-1 GLVC) defeated Truman State last Friday, 1-0, at home and tied Quincy, 1-1, last Sunday in Quincy, Illinois. On Friday evening, the Prairie Stars face Southwest Baptist in Springfield, Missouri before facing the Hawks on Sunday.
The Hawks lead the series 13-2 over the Prairie Stars. In their last matchup, Springfield tallied a 3-1 win over Rockhurst on Oct. 15, 2023, at Bourke Field.
