Knopke competes in NCAA diving finals

Caroline Knopke made history at the NCAA Championships
Caroline Knopke put her name in the Rockhurst history book on Saturday by becoming the first RU swimmer or diver to compete in the NCAA Division II national championships.
 
A senior from Overland Park, Kansas, Knopke finished in 22nd place in the women's 1-meter diving NCAA final prelims in Geneva, Ohio.

Knopke, who is in her first year as a collegiate diver, finished with a 320.75 score over her 11 dives on Saturday. She was one of three divers from the Great Lakes Valley Conference to compete in the finals' preliminary round.
