Women's Team named Fall CSCAA Scholar All-America Team

The Rockhurst women's swimming and diving team was selected as a College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America Division II Scholar All-America Team.

The Hawks were selected for the fall semester after earning the award for a 3.74 collective GPA in the fall.

The CSCAA selected 783 teams from 461 institutions to the Scholar All-America Team for the Fall 2023 semester. Teams were selected on the basis of their Fall 2023 team grade point averages and represent 18,716 student-athletes.

In order to qualify for this prestigious recognition, teams had to exhibit exceptional grade point averages during the Fall 2023 semester. Of the selected teams, an impressive 595 achieved a GPA of 3.30 or above, earning eligibility for the Intercollegiate Coach Association Coalition All-Sport Academic Standings.

Samantha Barany, Executive Director of the CSCAA, commented on the impressive accomplishments, saying, "The dedication to academic excellence displayed by these teams is truly commendable. It is heartening to witness student-athletes thriving both in the pool and in their academic pursuits. The CSCAA is proud to recognize and celebrate the hard work and commitment of these teams."
