Women finish eighth at GLVC Championships

Laetitia Bouc finished sixth in the 200 butterfly

The Rockhurst women's swimming and diving finished in eighth place with 434 points at the GLVC Championships Saturday in Evansville, Indiana.

Laetitia Bouc scored 38 points to lead the Hawks. She finished sixth in the 200 butterfly and 13th in the 100 butterfly.

Yara Elkoush collected 32 points in four events. She placed 16th in the 400 individual medley and 200 butterfly, 19th in the 1,650 freestyle, and 21st in the 1,000 freestyle.

Olivia Kerr came in 22nd place in the 100 breaststroke.

Caroline Knopke finished fourth in the 3-meter diving and fifth in the 1-meter diving. Ginna Dammann placed sixth in the 3-meter diving and seventh in the 1-meter diving.

The Hawks finished seventh in the 400 medley relay, eighth in the 200 and 400 freestyle relays, and ninth in the 200 medley relay and 400 freestyle relay.
