Men post seventh-place finish at GLVC meet

Mohannad Nada finished eighth in the 100 breaststroke

The Rockhurst men's swimming and diving finished in seventh place with 448 points at the GLVC Championships Saturday in Evansville, Indiana.

Mohannad Nada scored 26 points to lead the Hawks. He finished eighth in the 100 breaststroke and 21st in the 200 individual medley.

Ali Usama posted 19 points in three events. He finished 17th in the 100 butterfly, 19th in the 50 freestyle and 20th in the 100 backstroke.

Ian Klapper added 17 points with a 13th-place finish in the 100 breaststroke and 22nd-place finish in the 200 breaststroke.

Omar Mohsen collected 14 points in four events. He placed 18th in the 1,650 freestyle, 22nd in the 500 freestyle, and 23rd in the 200 freestyle and 1,000 freestyle.

Alexandre Adum came in 10th in the 200 butterfly and Adam Hamdy placed 19th in the 100 butterfly.

Jonathan Davis finished fourth in the 3-meter diving and fifth in the 1-meter diving. Riley Strickland placed seventh in the 3-meter and 1-meter diving.

The Hawks finished sixth in the 400 medley relay and 200 freestyle relay, and eighth in the 200 medley relay and 400 freestyle relay.
