The Rockhurst women's swimming and diving team finished second with 736 points at the Drury Invitational in the two-day event in Springfield, Missouri. The Hawks finished second during both days of competition, scoring 237 points on day one and 499 points on day two.

Rockhurst also posted three second-place finishes, four third-place finishes and set seven new school records at the Drury Invitational.

Day 1 Highlights

• The team of Avery Walz, Liza Engelbrecht, Karsen Bennett and Reese Moore finished third in the 200 freestyle relay.
• Paige Sheridan's third-place finish of 5:09.36 in the women's 500 freestyle set a new school record.
• During the 400 medley relay, Engelbrecht set a new school record in the 100 backstroke with a time of 59.27.

Day 2 Highlights

• With her time of 10:30.91, Sheridan not only placed second in the 1,000 freestyle but set a new school record. She also set a new school record of 4:41.88 in the 400 individual medley.
• Chiara Ambrosi's time of 2:08.52 not only earned her a second-place finish in the 200 backstroke, but it also set a school record.
• Avery Walz captured third in the 200 breaststroke and set a school record in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:07.45.
• In the 200 butterfly, Laetitia Bouc took second and Tauren Walz both finished third.
• Reese Moore's time of 53.73 in the 100 freestyle set a new school record.

The Hawks return to the pool this weekend at the Eagle Invitational from Friday through Sunday in Edmond, Oklahoma.
