Women post pair of seventh-place finishes in Michigan

Sarah Biscan tied for 35th at the Bulldog Fall Classic

The Rockhurst women's golf team finished in seventh place with a team score of 668 (329-339) Sunday at the Gildas Club Lake Fall Invite at The Meadows at Grand Valley State in Allendale, Michigan.

The Hawks had three players finish in the top 30 led by Grace Claney, who tied for 21st at 162 (84-78). Caroline Giocondo (77-86) and Celia Stiltner (81-82) tied for 26th at 163.

Sarah Biscan tied for 51st at 180 (87-93) and Charley Strahm finished 58th at 190 (94-96) to round out Rockhurst's five players.

On Monday, the Hawks placed seventh at the Bulldog Fall Invite with a 690 team score at the Katke Golf Course in Big Rapids, Michigan. Rockhurst shot a 334 in the second round after opening with a 356.

Giocondo led the Hawks in 20th place at 162 (85-77). Claney came in 25th (84-81) and Biscan tied for 35th at 173 (87-86).

Stiltner tied for 43rd at 190 (100-90) and Strahm finished 45th at 193 (103-90) to round out Rockhurst's five players.

Rockhurst is back in action Oct. 14-15 at the Midwest Classic in Maryville, Missouri.
