Hawks conclude regular season on the road

Eight seniors were honored on Senior Day last Sunday

This weekend, the Rockhurst women's soccer team finishes the 2024 regular season on the road. The Hawks take on Lincoln Friday in Jefferson City, Missouri at 5 p.m. and will head to Rolla, Missouri to face Missouri S&T at noon Sunday.

Rockhurst (10-5-1, 8-3-1 GLVC) went unbeaten last weekend. The Hawks tied 25th-ranked Drury, 1-1, last Friday night, as the Hawks' goal was scored by Lizzo Rosenthal. Rockhurst won 2-0 on Sunday over Southwest Baptist during Senior Day with two Anna Lantz goals.

Lincoln (5-11, 1-11 GLVC) fell to Truman State 2-0 last Friday afternoon and to Quincy, 4-0, last Sunday afternoon. This will be the Hawks and Blue Tigers' first-ever match against each other, as the 2024-25 season is Lincoln's first as a full-time member of the GLVC.

Missouri S&T (3-10-2, 3-7-2 GLVC) won 5-0 over William Jewell last Friday and fell 2-0 to Truman State last Sunday. The Hawks are 17-1 all-time against the Miners and are on a 13-match unbeaten streak since 2011.

Most recently, the Hawks defeated the Miners 2-0 on Sept. 29, 2023, at Bourke Field. Missouri S&T faces Southwest Baptist on Friday evening before facing the Hawks on Sunday afternoon.
