Rockhurst women's soccer hosts Upper Iowa Friday evening at 5 p.m. and Lewis Sunday at noon at Bourke Field, as part of Family and Alumni Weekend.
The Hawks (5-4, 3-2 GLVC) enter the weekend on a three-game winning streak after their road sweep against Indianapolis and Illinois Springfield last weekend. They have also shutout their opponents in two of their last three matches.
Rockhurst won 2-1 against Indianapolis last Friday evening after two first-half goals by Jacie Tottleben and Anna Lantz. Last Sunday, goals by Julia Witt, Lantz, Elizabeth Mertzlufft and Patti Ehrnman carried the Hawks to a 4-0 victory against Illinois Springfield.
Upper Iowa (1-2-3, 1-1-2 GLVC) tied their last two matches, 1-1. This past Friday, the Peacocks tied Truman State and tied Quincy last Sunday.
Rockhurst is 3-1-1 against Upper Iowa since 2004, including a 2-0 victory on Oct. 8, 2023, in Fayette, Iowa.
Lewis (0-6-1, 0-4 GLVC) fell 2-1 to William Jewell last Friday and lost 3-0 to Truman State on Sunday. The Flyers face Southwest Baptist on Friday night in Bolivar, Missouri before facing the Hawks on Sunday.
The Hawks are 13-3-3 all-time against Lewis, winning four of the last seven contests dating back to 2017. Rockhurst fell 1-0 to Lewis on Sept. 23, 2023, in Romeoville, Illinois.
