Hawks finish home schedule this weekend

Taylor James has posted seven shutouts this season

The Rockhurst Hawks host No. 25 Drury (Friday at 5 p.m.) and Southwest Baptist (Sunday at noon) to finish the 2024 home schedule at Bourke Field. Sunday's contest against Southwest Baptist will be Senior Day.

Rockhurst (9-5, 7-3 GLVC) had one game last week, on Sunday against William Jewell. The match went scoreless for the first 78 minutes. An Olivia Schwarzen goal in the 79th minute gave the Hawks what would become the 1-0 final score.

Drury (11-1-3, 9-1-1 GLVC) finished last week 1-0-1, defeating Truman State, 1-0, last Friday and tying Quincy, 0-0, last Sunday.

The Hawks are 9-8-3 all-time against the Panthers, as the two teams most recently played to a 0-0 tie on Oct. 20, 2023 in Springfield, Missouri.

Southwest Baptist (2-9-3, 2-7-2 GLVC) finished 1-0-1 last week, tying 3-3 with William Jewell last Friday before winning 1-0 over Truman State last Sunday.

The Hawks are 5-1-2 all-time against the Bearcats, including a 4-1 win on Oct. 22, 2023, in Bolivar, Missouri.
