Hawks capture dual meet at Truman State

Ali Usama won the 100 butterfly and 100 backstroke

The Rockhurst men's swimming and diving team posted a 151-109 victory over Truman State Friday in Kirksville, Missouri.

Mohannad Nada led the Hawks with three first-place finishes in the 100 and 200 breaststroke, and the 200 individual medley.

Omar Mohsen won the 500 and 1,000 freestyle races. Ali Usama finished first in the 100 backstroke and second in the 100 butterfly and 200 backstroke.

Adam Hamdy captured the 100 butterfly and placed second in the 200 butterfly. Alexandre Adum won the 200 butterfly and came in third in the 100 butterfly.

Second-place finishes were collected by Omar Abla (100 and 200 freestyle), Ian Klapper (200 and 200 breaststroke) and Preston Hoang (500 freestyle).

Abla (50 freestyle), Hoang (100 freestyle) and Davi Araujo (500 freestyle) added third-place finishes.

The Hawks won both the 400 medley relay and the 400 freestyle relay.
