Conference play kicks off at home tonight

The Hawks open GLVC play at home this weekend.

The Rockhurst women's soccer team kicks off conference play this weekend at Bourke Field. The Hawks (2-1-1) hope to rebound from a 1-0 loss at home to Oklahoma Christian last Sunday.

Tonight at 5:00, the Hawks face 13th-ranked McKendree (4-0). The Bearcats posted a 2-0 win over Wayne State College last week at Bourke Field.

The two teams battled to a scoreless tie at Rockhurst last year. The all-time series is even at 6-6-1 dating back to 2012.

The Hawks host Missouri-St. Louis at noon on Sunday. The Tritons (1-1-2) are coming off a 2-1 loss at home to 18th-ranked Cedarville last weekend.

Rockhurst leads the all-time series with UMSL, 10-7-4. The Hawks edged the Tritons, 2-1, in the regular season and later suffered a 2-1 loss to UMSL in the first round of the GLVC Tournament.
