Hawks open stretch run in southwest Missouri

The Hawks are currently in sixth place in the GLVC

The Rockhurst women's soccer team enters the stretch run in the regular season hoping for a strong finish.

The Hawks (6-5-3, 4-4-2 GLVC) open the weekend in Springfield, Missouri against second-place Drury (10-2-1, 7-1-1 GLVC) on Friday at 5 p.m.

Rockhurst defeated Drury, 2-0, last year in Springfield. Rockhurst leads the all-time series, 9-8-2.

The Hawks meet Southwest Baptist at noon Sunday in Bolivar, Missouri. The Bearcats (3-8-3, 1-6-2 GLVC) have a 3-3-2 record at home.

Rockhurst leads the all-time series, 4-1-2. The Hawks edged the Bearcats, 4-2, last year in Bolivar.
