Rockhurst led No. 2-ranked Drury going into halftime before falling short against the Lady Panthers, 80-73, Saturday at Mason-Halpin Field House.
The Hawks connected on 11-of-21 shots from the field (52.4 percent) in the second quarter to take a 37-36 lead into halftime, but Rockhurst only shot 22.2 percent from the field (2-of-9) in the third quarter.
Kaylee DaMitz-Holt scored 15 points of her team-high 20 points in the second half to extend the Lady Panthers' lead to 60-47 in the fourth quarter.
Molly Hummel led the Hawks with 17 points and eight rebounds. Macie Conway finished with 14 points, while Ali Kamies added 13 points. Keegan Sullivan ended with nine points, five rebounds and four assists. Rebeca Garcia added a team-high nine rebounds.
The Panthers connected on 25-of-62 shots from the field (40.3 percent) and 26-of-34 free throws (76.5 percent).
