Hawks breeze past Park University, 67-42

Ten players broke into the scoring column to lead Rockhurst to a 67-42 victory over Park University Monday night at Mason-Halpin Field House.

The Hawks went on a 15-0 run in the first half to race out to a 20-5 lead. Rockhurst opened the second half with the same intensity and grew their lead to 57-29 with seven minutes left to play in the fourth quarter.

Molly Hummel led the Hawks with an impressive double-double of 13 points and 13 rebounds, along with getting six steals and three assists.

Keegan Sullivan tallied 10 points and eight rebounds. Reagan Dodd collected nine points. Ali Kamies and Bailey Brown both scored eight points.  
 
Park made 14-of-57 shots from the field (24.6 percent). Angel Wiggins led the Pirates with 11 points.
