Rockhurst breezes to 88-58 road win

The Rockhurst women jumped out to a 20-point lead after the first quarter and never looked back in collecting an 88-58 victory over McKendree Saturday night in Lebanon, Illinois.

The Hawks went into halftime with a 53-25 lead while shooting 58.3 percent from the field (21 of 26). Allison McFarren, Keegan Sullivan and Molly Hummel combined for 27 points in the first half.

McFarren led the Hawks with a career-high 19 points and three assists. The junior guard made seven-of-13 shots from the field. Keegan Sullivan collected 11 points and eight rebounds.

Daly Sullivan and Meghan Urbanski combined for 20 points and four 3-point field goals. Hummel added seven points, two steals and two blocked shots.

The Bearcats (3-15, 2-9 GLVC) made 19-of-56 shots from the field (33.9 percent). Clare Breden led McKendree with 17 points.
