It's back on the road for the Rockhurst women's soccer team as the Hawks travel to play Illinois Springfield (Friday at 1 p.m.) and Lewis (Sunday at 12:00 p.m.).

The Hawks (7-2-3, 6-1-1 GLVC) are tied for second place in the GLVC after beating Indianapolis 2-1 and tying 12th-ranked McKendree 0-0.

Illinois Springfield (6-5-2, 5-3 GLVC) is coming off the weekend 2-0 after beating Truman State 1-0 on Friday and Quincy 1-0 on Sunday.

Rockhurst has won nine of its 10 meetings with Illinois Springfield, including last fall where the Hawks won 1-0 on the road.

On Sunday, Rockhurst will travel to Romeoville, Illinois to face Lewis (7-4-1, 5-2-1 GLVC). The Flyers are on a four-game winning streak, beating William Jewell 7-2 and Truman State 1-0 last weekend.

The Hawks have not beaten the Flyers since 2019 but are winning the overall series 6-1-3.
