Late goal gives Hawks a 2-1 win at Truman State

Mallory Mumby scored in the 79th minute to give Rockhurst a 2-1 victory over Truman State Friday in women's soccer in Kirksville, Missouri.

Mumby knocked in a shot from eight yards out coming off a Rockhurst free kick. It was Mumby's second goal of the season.

Jillian Leetch gave the Hawks a 1-0 lead when her corner kick found the nets. Leetch's third goal of the season came in the 13th minute.

Rockhurst finished with 10 shots and four shots on goal. Truman posted 13 shots and six shots on goal.

Leetch led the Hawks with two shots. Megan Meyers finished with five saves in picking up her third win of the season.

Rockhurst (6-4-3) closes out the regular season at William Jewell on Sunday.
