Hawks fall in overtime at Indianapolis

Indianapolis scored with 65 seconds left in the second overtime to defeat Rockhurst, 1-0, Friday night in Indianapolis.

Indy's Taylor Peck found the upper left of the goal on a header from 18 yards out for the game-winning goal.

The 19th-ranked Greyhounds outshot the Hawks, 6-1, in the two overtime periods.

Rockhurst posted 13 shots and four shots on goal. Indianapolis finished with 18 shots and seven shots on goal.

Hannah Byrne led the Hawks with three shots on goal. Elle Kimball and Olivia Van Belle each posted two shot.

RU goalie Megan Meyers posted six saves, including three in the second overtime.

Rockhurst (4-3-2) next plays at Lewis on Sunday.
