Hawks end season with 2-0 loss at home

Truman State dashed Rockhurst's postseason tournament hopes by defeating the Hawks 2-0 in the final game of the regular season Sunday at Bourke Field.

The Bulldogs scored both of their goals in the second half on a 15-yard shot in the 72nd minute and a 16-yard shot in the 81st minute.

The Rockhurst women finished with 12 shots and two shots on goal. Freshman Olivia Schwarzen led the Hawks with five shots and one shot on goal. Elle Kimball also had a shot on goal. Taylor James posted two saves.

Truman State (10-3-3, 9-2-3 GLVC) posted seven shots and four shots on goal.

The Hawks end their season with a 6-10-2 overall record and 5-7-2 league mark.
