Rockhurst splits final two games in Topeka

Olivia Prather posted her fourth win of the season to lead Rockhurst to a 12-1 victory over Nebraska-Kearney Sunday in Topeka, Kansas.

Prather held the Lopers to one run on five hits over 4.0 innings. The Hawks supported Prather with a nine-hit attack.

Emily Clark led Rockhurst (8-4) with two hits and three RBIs. Clark singled home two runs in the second and added a run-scoring single in the fourth. Jaden Santoni hit a three-run double in the fourth. Payton Staggs collected two hits and scored three runs.

in the final game in Topeka, Pittsburg State rallied for a 9-8 victory over the Hawks. The Gorillas scored an unearned run in the bottom of the seventh.

RU's Lauren Marks drove in five runs with a two-run home run in the fourth and a three-run triple in the fifth. Clark and Maya Gallagher each posted two hits and one RBI.

Marks was named to the All-Tournament Team.
