Hawks travel to Southwest Baptist for mid-week game

The Hawks take a 3-2 record to Southwest Baptist this week.
The Rockhurst Hawks return to the road on Wednesday for a 1 p.m. tip against Southwest Baptist in Bolivar, Missouri.

Rockhurst (3-2) battled unbeaten Drury for four quarters before falling to the Panthers, 76-64, at home last Saturday. Senior guard Daly Sullivan led the Hawks with 16 points and three assists.

Sullivan leads the Hawks in scoring (14.0 pg, 16th in the GLVC) and steals (2.4 pg, sixth in the GLVC). Junior forward Monika Faerber is fourth in rebounding (9.4) and 10th in blocked shots (0.80) in the GLVC. Sophomore forward Lani Thompson ranks 18th in rebounding (6.2 pg) in the GLVC.

Southwest Baptist (0-3) is coming off a 79-63 loss at McKendree Monday night. Senior guard Kyleigh Vaught paces the Bearcats with a 15.0 scoring average.

The Hawks and Bearcats split their two meetings last year with Rockhurst winning by 44 points at home while falling by 19 points at Southwest Baptist. The Bearcats lead the all-time series, 13-7.
