Ronshausen poured in a career-high 29 points, including 17 in the first half. The junior guard shot 11-of-20 from the field, three-of-seven from 3-point range and four-of-four from the foul line, while also collecting six rebounds and a team-high five assists.

Sebek dropped in 15 points, including three 3-pointers. Urbanski chipped in 12 points on five-of-10 from the floor.

Tied at 10 midway through the first quarter, Rockhurst surged ahead with a 10-1 run, capped by a Ronshausen jumper to go up 20-11. The Prairie Stars pulled back within four early in the second quarter at 25-21, but the Hawks gained separation as Ronshausen rattled off eight straight points to put the home team ahead 33-21.

Rockhurst led by 14 early in the third quarter before Val Meissner scored five of her team-high 16 points for UIS to trim the deficit to nine, but a Sebek 3-pointer at the 5:55 mark swung momentum back in the Hawks' favor.

The Hawks led by double digits the rest of the way, with the lead growing as large as 19 in the fourth quarter.

Coach Larry Park praised the Hawks' effort, saying, "Our rebounding and defensive intensity was consistent all game, as it's been the past three games now."
