No. 13 Hawks resume GLVC action this weekend

Rockhurst puts its 7-0 record on the line this weekend.

The 13th-ranked Rockhurst Hawks (7-0, 5-0 GLVC) look to remain unbeaten this weekend as they host Maryville (Friday, 5 p.m.) and travel to Missouri S&T (Sunday, 12 p.m.).

The Hawks are fresh off a pair of GLVC road wins at Southwest Baptist (4-2) and Drury (1-0). Coach Greg Herdlick's team has displayed great balance offensively. Jillian Leetch leads the way with three goals, while four players -- Stephanie Ostrander, Greta Seal, Hannah Byrne and McKenna Leetch -- each have two goals, while eight more players have scored one goal.

Maryville travels to Kansas City with an unbeaten record of 5-0-1 (4-0-1 GLVC), tied for second in the conference, trailing only Rockhurst. The Saints have won their last two meetings and trail 7-2-1 in the all-time series.

Missouri S&T hosts Rockhurst Sunday, entering the weekend with a record of 2-4-1 (2-3 GLVC). The Hawks have won their last four meetings with S&T and lead the all-time series, 15-6-3.
