The Rockhurst women's golf team shattered the school record for 54 holes while placing sixth at the McKendree Bearcat Intercollegiate Tuesday at the Far Oaks Golf Club in Caseyville, Illinois.
The Hawks finished with a team score of 986, which was 27 strokes better than the previous school record of 1,013 at the 2019 GLVC Championships. Rockhurst shot a 322 in the first round, a 329 in the second round and a 335 in the final round.
Abby Sauber broke the individual school record for 54 holes with a 242 total, two shots better than her previous school record at the 2019 GLVC Championships. Sauber shot rounds of 77, 83 and 82 to tie for 19th place.
Emma Mullendore placed 25th with a 247 score (80-82-85). Caroline Setter and Caroline Lynch both tied for 29th place at 250. Dorothy Keenan tied for 35th at 255.
