Box Score Missouri S&T pulled away in the fourth period to collect an 81-64 victory over Rockhurst Saturday in Rolla, Missouri.
The win ended a six-game losing streak against the Hawks dating back to the 2012-13 season. Four players scored in double figures for the Lady Miners (8-11, 3-8 GLVC).
Rockhurst rallied from a 17-2 deficit to take a 29-28 halftime lead. Missouri S&T outscored the Hawks 53-35 in the second half while hitting 16 of 18 free throws.
Madeline Ronshausen led the Hawks with a game-high 23 points on eight-of-19 shooting. Briahtia Sebek scored 10 points on three 3-point field goals. Jillian Myers posted nine points, four rebounds, four assists and eight steals.
Rockhurst shot 35.5 percent from the field on 22 of 62 field goals. S&T made 26 of 54 shots for a 48.1 percent field goal percentage. The Lady Miners outrebounded the Hawks, 46-21.
The Hawks (8-11, 4-7 GLVC) play at Truman State on Saturday, Feb. 3.
