First half goal gives UMSL a 1-0 win over Hawks

Box Score The road was not kind to the Rockhurst women for the second time in three days in St. Louis. The Hawks fell by a 1-0 score at Missouri-St. Louis Sunday when the Tritons scored an unassisted goal on a 25-yard shot in the 34th minute.

Rockhurst finished with 13 shots on goal and four shots on goal. The Tritons were held to nine shots and six shots on goal.

Colleen Pikus led the Hawks with three shots and two shots on goal. Kaley Nieters and Jillian Leetch each collected two shots.

The Hawks (6-6, 4-5 GLVC) return home to host McKendree Friday night.
