Box Score Rockhurst scored two early goals in rolling to a 3-1 win over Northwest Missouri State in the Hawks' home opener Wednesday night at Bourke Field.

Kaley Nieters posted two goals and one assist. Courtney Silberberg added one goal and one assist. Meghan Kilkenny and Maddie Dierkes each collected an assist.

Silberberg scored in the third minute on a 30-yard shot off the crossbar. Nieters knocked in a shot from five yards out in the 18th minute to give the Hawks a 2-0 lead. Nieters added an insurance goal with 1:07 left in the game on a 10-yard shot.

Rockhurst outshot the Bearcats, 19-6. Nieters led the Hawks with five shots. Silberberg added four shots. Ali Wallner posted two saves.

The Hawks, 3-0, host Wisconsin-Parkside in their conference opener on Friday, September 9.
