Penalty kick give Hawks 2-1 win at Indianapolis

Kristin Wolff scored the winning goal in a 2-1 win at Indianapolis.

Box Score Rockhurst scored two goals in the final 30 minutes to rally for a 2-1 victory over the University of Indianapolis Sunday in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Courtney Silberberg and Kristin Wolff supplied the scoring for the Hawks. Silberberg tied the score at 1-1 with her fourth goal of the season in the 62nd minute with a header off a corner kick from Meghan Kilkenny. Wolff knocked in a penalty kick for the game-winning goal in the 76th minute.

The Hawks posted 24 shots and 14 shots on goal. Silberberg led Rockhurst with six shots and four shots on goal. Kilkenny and Brandi Vollmer both finished with four shots. Wolff added three shots.

Rockhurst, 6-0-1 and 3-0-1 in the GLVC, returns to action on Friday, September 23 at Missouri-St. Louis.
