Rockhurst women settle for 0-0 tie at home

Box Score The Rockhurst Hawks posted their third shutout of the season, but only came away with a 0-0 tie against the Lewis Flyers Sunday at Bourke Field.

Rockhurst dominated the two 10-minute overtime periods. The Hawks collected four of their six shots on goal in extra time.

The Hawks outshot Lewis, 14-6. Courtney Silberberg and Meghan Kilkenny led Rockhurst with three shots apiece. Kristin Wolff, Kaley Nieters and Maddie Dierkes each added two shots. Ali Wallner made two saves in goal for the Hawks.

Rockhurst, 4-0-1 and 1-0-1 in the GLVC, travels to Indiana to play Saint Joseph's on Friday, September 16.
