Second-half goal gives Hawks a 1-0 win at Missouri S&T

Box Score Kristin Wolff scored her fourth game-winning goal of the season to lead Rockhurst to a 1-0 victory over Missouri S&T Sunday in Rolla, Missouri.

The 16th-ranked Hawks remain tied for first place with Truman State in the Great Lakes Valley Conference with an 11-1-2 league record with one game left in the regular season.

Wolff tapped in a shot from three yards out off a cross from Courtney Silberberg in the 58th minute. Wolff now leads the Hawks with six goals.

Rockhurst finished with 18 shots and 11 shots on goal. Kaley Nieters and Brandi Vollmer led the Hawks with four shots and three shots on goal apiece. Silberberg added three shots and two shots on goal.

The Hawks, 14-1-2 overall, close out the regular season at William Jewell on Wednesday, October 26. Rockhurst will host a first-round game in the GLVC Tournament on Sunday, October 30.
