Overtime goal lifts Hawks to 3-2 win over Saints

Courtney Silberberg led the Hawks with six shots.
Box Score Freshman Mackenzie Moore scored her first career goal to give Rockhurst a 3-2 victory over Maryville Friday night at Bourke Field. Moore knocked in a shot from 10 yards out with 7:47 left in the second overtime period. Her goal was set up by a Rockhurst corner kick.

Nicole Keeve gave the Hawks a 1-0 lead with her second goal of the season in the 22nd minute, with assists from Courtney Silberberg and Moore. Silberberg's fifth goal of the season, a header in front of the goal off a corner kick from Keeve, put Rockhurst back in front, 2-1, in the 65th minute.

Rockhurst outshot the Saints, 20-17. Silberberg led the Hawks with six shots. Nicole Keeve added three shots.

Senior goalkeeper Caitlin Winschel made two saves in winning her second game of the season.

The Hawks, 4-3-4 and 4-3-1 in the GLVC, host Missouri-St. Louis on Sunday.
