Box Score Rockhurst posted its first road win of the season in shutting out third-ranked Quincy, 1-0, in a conference match Sunday in Quincy, Ill.

The Hawks scored the only goal of the game midway through the first half. Molly Beelman found the nets on a six-yard shot off a pass from Mackenzie Moore in the 24th minute. It was Beelman's first goal of the season and her second career goal.

Rockhurst collected 12 shots, one less than Quincy. Moore, Courtney Silberberg, Kinsley Fitzpatrick and Brandi Van Booven led the Hawks with two shots apiece.

Senior goalkeeper Caitlin Winschel made four saves in collecting her second shutout of the season. Three of her saves were posted in the second half.

The Hawks, 3-3-4 and 3-3-1 in the GLVC, return home to host Maryville on Friday.
