Hawks are No. 7 seed in GLVC Tournament

Courtney Silberberg scored her team-high seventh goal in the seventh minute.
Box Score Rockhurst allowed a season-high four goals in falling to William Jewell 4-1 Wednesday night at Bourke Field in the final game of the regular season.

The Hawks finished seventh in the Great Lakes Valley Conference with a 7-5-3 league record. Rockhurst will play at second-seeded Truman State in the quarterfinals of the GLVC Tournament at noon on Sunday, November 1.

Rockhurst jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the seventh minute. Courtney Silberberg scored on a header in front of the net off a corner kick from Nicole Keeve. Jewell knotted the score 12 minutes later. The Cardinals grabbed a 3-1 lead by scoring two goals four minutes apart.

Jewell outshot the Hawks, 17-16. Silberberg and Kinsley Fitzpatrick led the Hawks with three shots apiece. Brandi Van Booven and Meghan Kilkenny both had two shots. Caitlin Winschel posted five saves.
