Box Score Rockhurst shut down Missouri-St. Louis 2-0 Friday at UMSL's Don Dallas Field to remain tied for second place in the Great Lakes Valley Conference.

Meghan Kilkenny gave the Hawks a 1-0 lead with her first goal of the season in the 21st minute. Brandi Van Booven posted her third goal of the season in the 77th minute off a pass from Nicole Vermes to give the Hawks a 2-0 lead.

The Tritons outshot the Hawks 13-11. Taylor Skala led Rockhurst with four shots. Jessica Cook added two shots. Junior goalkeeper Caitlin Winschel collected four saves.

The Hawks (7-1, 4-1 in the GLVC) play at Maryville on Sunday.
