Late goal lifts Hawks to 1-0 win at Indianapolis

Taylor Skala scored the game-winning goal as she led the Hawks with 11 shots.
Box Score Senior forward Taylor Skala broke a scoreless tie with an unassisted goal with 13:11 left in regulation to give Rockhurst a 1-0 victory over Indianapolis Sunday in Indianapolis. The win leave the Hawks unbeaten at 5-0 overall and 2-0 in conference play.

Skala's goal was her third shot in a row as Indianapolis blocked her first two shots. Skala led the Hawks with 11 shots as Rockhurst finished with 33 shots and 17 shots on goal.
Meghan Kilkenny, Kristin Wolff and Courtney Silberberg each posted four shots for the Hawks. Jessica Cook added three shots. Sophomore goalkeeper Ali Wallner made three saves to post her first win of the season.

The Hawks return home to host 16th-ranked Wisconsin-Parkside on Friday, Sept. 19.
