Box Score The Rockhurst women suffered a 5-3 shootout loss to Quincy in the quarterfinals of the Great Lakes Valley Conference Tournament Sunday at RU's Bourke Field. The two teams battled to a 1-1 tie after two overtime periods.
Quincy made all five of its attempts in the shootout, while Rockhurst connected on three of its four attempts.

Meghan Kilkenny found the nets for the Hawks.
Jessica Cook scored her first goal of the season to give Rockhurst a 1-0 lead in the first half. Cook hit a shot from 18 yards out off a pass from
Taylor Skala in the 22nd minute.
Courtney Silberberg also assisted on the goal. Quincy tied the score in the 82nd minute on a shot off a corner kick.
The Hawks outshot Quincy, 19-9. Skala and Silberberg led Rockhurst with four shots apiece. Cook, Kilkenny and Â
Brandi Van Booven each posted two shots.
Caitlin Winschel posted five saves.
Rockhurst, 14-2-3, will await the announcement of the NCAA Division II Championship field on Monday, Nov. 10. The Hawks were ranked sixth in last week's Midwest Regional poll.
