RU Hawks settle for 0-0 tie with Quincy Hawks

Courtney Silberberg led the Hawks with three shots.
Box Score The Rockhurst women battled Quincy to a 0-0 tie in double overtime Friday night at RU's Bourke Field. The two teams fall into a tie for third place in the Great Lakes Valley Conference with 5-1-1 league records.

Rockhurst outshot Quincy, 17-10. Courtney Silberberg led the Hawks with three shots. Nicole Vermes, Jessica Cook, Taylor Skala, Maria Merlo and Brandi Van Booven each had two shots. Junior goalkeeper Caitlin Winschel posted five saves.

The Hawks (8-1-1 overall) host Truman State on Sunday.
