Overtime goal gives Hawks 1-0 win over McKendree

Julia Bartolacci scored the winning goal in overtime.
Box Score Julia Bartolacci scored late in the first overtime period to give Rockhurst to a 1-0 victory over McKendree Friday night at RU's Bourke Field.

Bartolacci beat the McKendree keeper inside the 18-yard box with a shot to the far right corner. Kristin Wolff was credited with the assist on RU's game-winning goal with 1:48 left in the first overtime.

The Hawks outshot McKendree, 18-13. Bartolacci and Brandi Van Booven led Rockhurst with three shots apiece. Jessica Cook and Courtney Silberberg each had two shots. Junior goalkeeper Caitlin Winschel posted five saves in moving her record to 10-0-2 on the season.

The Hawks (11-1-2, 8-1-2 GLVC) host Bellarmine on Sunday.
