Box Score The Rockhurst Hawks settled for a 0-0 tie in double overtime against Missouri S&T in their Great Lakes Valley Conference opener Friday night at RU's Bourke Field.

Rockhurst outshot Missouri S&T 18-5 for 110 minutes. The Hawks combined for six shots in the two 10-minute overtime periods while not allowing the Miners to get off a shot. Eight of Rockhurst's 18 shots were stopped by S&T goalkeeper Madison Gilber. Freshman keeper Ali Wallner posted one save for the Hawks.

Taylor Skala led Rockhurst with five shots. Julia Bartolacci finished with four shots and Katie Kujawa added three shots. The trio combined for six shots on goal.

The Hawks, 1-0-1 and 0-0-1, return to action on Sunday at Drury in a noon start in Springfield, Mo.
