Rockhurst falls at Truman State, 1-0

Taylor Skala was limited to one shot by Truman State.
Box Score The Rockhurst women's soccer team suffered their first loss of the season, falling 1-0 at 20th-ranked Truman State on Friday in Kirksville, Mo. The Bulldogs scored in the 73rd minute on a rebound shot off the post.

Truman State outshoot the Hawks 16-4, including 9-1 on net. Rockhurst keeper Ali Wallner made eight saves. She turned back three shots in the first half and five shots in the final 45 minutes.
 
Freshman defender Jamison Wipke had the lone shot on goal for Rockhurst. Taylor Skala, Kasey Lierz and Julia Bartolacci each posted a shot for the Hawks,

Rockhurst, 6-1-2 and 4-1-2 in the GLVC, returns to the field in a noon game Sunday at 10th-ranked Quincy.
