Alex Jacobson was selected the Great Lakes Valley Conference Player of the Week. She recorded 10 hits in 23 at-bats, including four home runs, for a .435 batting average to lead Rockhurst to a 3-3 record last week. She scored six times, drove in 11 RBIs and stole two bases. Jacobson opened the week with home runs in a pair of wins at William Jewell. She extended her home run streak to a school-record eight consecutive games, going 4-for-8 against Maryville with six RBIs. She continued her reached base streak to 12 consecutive games after going 3-for-8 at the plate against No. 10 Missouri-St. Louis.
