Thomas threw a five-hit shutout to lead the Hawks to a 1-0 victory over the 30th-ranked Southern Indiana Screaming Eagles on Saturday, March 16. The 6-foot-2 sophomore right-hander struck out nine and walked three over seven innings to improve his season record to 2-0.
