Paul  Dean was named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Defensive Player of the Week in men's soccer. Dean anchored the Rockhurst defense to a pair of shutout wins over the weekend as the Hawks opened with a 2-0 win over Maryville on Friday before beating Missouri-St. Louis 1-0 on Sunday. The junior played in all 180 minutes of action and scored the game-winner on a header against Missouri-St. Louis. This is Dean's first career weekly nod and first defensive selection for the Hawks since September 15, 2014.
