Sophomore midfielder Claudio Romano was named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week. Romano came in off the bench to lead the Hawks with three goals in as many games. He scored two game-winning goals, using his head both times, in 1-0 conference wins against Missouri S&T and Drury. The sophomore also scored the fifth goal in Rockhurst's 5-5 tie at seventh-ranked Lindenwood. This is the Pazzuoli, Italy, native's first career weekly honor and the first Rockhurst player to garner the offensive nod since Mark Magee on October 7, 2013.
