Demi Plathe led the Hawks to two series sweeps over Benedictine and Southwest Baptist. The West Des Moines, Iowa, native earned two wins on the week while throwing a complete game in one. She held opposing teams to two earned runs while walking one and striking out 10. At the plate, Plathe finished 3-8 for a .375 batting average and scored two runs. She currently is batting .344 on the year.
